So now that ive started cycling with fish, them seem happy enough, its been four days since i started but have not yet done a water change.
CALM DOWN
the reason is, my ammoina(between 0 and .25), nitrite (between 0 and .3)and nitrite(5) levels have all stayed the same? havent even gone up a little?
Is this normal? how long should i expect to wait for my cycle with fish to be complete?
and yes i have a master test kit.

it will be a while just keep a close eye on your parameters and when you do start to see a spike jump on the water change to keep it under control

It can take a week for the buildup to be noticable, depending on the stock of course. It can take a while, so 4 days is just the beginning. Are you using a biological additive? I swear by them.

Did you use some media from your uncle's tank?

yes i am using biological additives and no i havent used any of his media , he lives a good 500 km away, so thats a little difficult, but im taking all the right steps, using the booster , not feeding them too much, got the temperature just a little above normal for fast bacteria groth and i test the water bi-daily.

It took nearly 2 months for my 55 gallon tank to cycle. I started with 4 zebra danios and didn't add another 4 until 2 weeks had gone by. I didn't even test my levels for the first week. So you have to be really patient if you don't have borrowed media. If you ask me any LFS would find it profitable to do a sign line in live media for beginners or for people getting ammonia spikes.
