what cichlid goes good with yellow lab's? I would like to add some color other than the typical blue? Any input is appriciated. Oh forgot to ask. what fish from what lake's in africia are compatable with the yellow lab's? my PH is at 8.0. thank's all.

You can put other mbuna with yellow labs. What size is your tank? Stay away from auratus, kenyi, and crabo as they tend to be very aggressive. Red zebra might be nice, or greshakei. Look for malawi mbuna for more ideas.

I look on aquabid.com all the time and click african. what one's can I put with them without a problem? Im new to the cichlid world so I really dont know the difference's between them all.

rusty cichlids, maybe labidochromis textilus if you can find them.

can you mix yellow lab's with western cichlid's or tanganyika cichlid's? Im guessing victoria cichlid's are out of the question.

it's best to keep same lake cichlids in one tank and not mix the lakes.

You could try some Peacocks, they are semi-aggressive
and I have kept them with yellow labs in the past.
peacocks are really beautiful fish and will contrast
nicely with your Labs.
