I am getting a red crayfish and I want to know how to tell if the crayfish is a male or female so I can know the gender of the crayfish I will be getting. Does any one know how to tell the difference between a male and a female crayfish? Any response would really be apreciated, Thanks. :fish:

I have also read that the females claws have a more green tinge to them and don't have much red at all....that can depend on the species you have though.

Do you catch your crayfish wild or are they store bought?
