I am checking in from the hotel, and I am having a blast. I forgot the camera at my house 5 hours away so no pictures. I havent bought that much yet, today/tomorrow is going to be my big spending days.

So far I have bought-
3-posters
2- rams (pair, pretty nice one at that)
5-sterbai cats
1-gold nugget pleco

Not sure what is next..

Great to hear that your having a good time Red. Too bad about the camera. I was wondering how you are temporarily keeping the fish you bought until you get home. Do the sellers keep them for you until you are ready to leave or do you have some type of temporary setup for them?

You buy rental tanks, and you keep your fish in there. We have 2 tanks that we sell out of, and one for keeping. We also have coolers, that you can hook up to a air pump and keep fish in there. There is three of us buying fish, so room runs out quick. You can also have the seller hold them, but it is much more risky.

PS: Just got a call from Algenco, and he is at the aquarium now, and will be meeting me later.

Also what are prices like? I'd considering going if they are good and there is a great selection - definitely better than doing with some of the moronic LFS

Prices are normally are ok-decent. Most of the time better then your lfs.

I ended up picking up a pair of golden rams today. Didn't do much fish buying today. I dont think I will stay for the auction tommorow.

I am back, I ended up with some tetras and a barb (kind unknown) and very tired. All 21 tanks need a waterchange.

You should of seen the B.A.B.E.S auction, they were giving lap dances to people who spend over 100. And they were big big big women with big female parts. I was going to bid on a plant, then she put it between her boobs and I was like never mindd lol...
The angels I bought, went for like $30 and I got them for 9 bucks.. haa
