Yes, I'm a few months early, but I'm really curious, and simply can't wait. :lol:
I own three 6-inch goldfish in my 400g pond at my Grandparent's place. The three come in during winter and are often left in a cool filtered pool in the basement or spread among friend's tanks for a few months.
I'm wondering what's the lowest temperature/weather they could stand relatively comfortably.
I know some people just leave them outside all year, but Newfoundland winters can be pretty harsh. In fact the first winter after we set up the pond it froze solid and part of it busted out.
Every other year it's just been guesswork.
