I have bought a 55 gallon tank with fish and live rock also live sand. I dont know if the tank is setup correctly because i dont know much about saltwater tanks. The tank came with 2 clownfish, 1 damsel, 1 majestic angel and also 2 4 stripe damsels. i am wondering if their is too many fish and the tank and if the tank is ok with just the hang over filter which is Aaqua clear 110 do i need any other equipment to run the tank better or am I ok

Well the Majestic Angelfish should go, it will reach around 12" in size which is far to large for your tank. Your 4 stripe damselfish are fairly territorial and aggressive for their size, they also have the typical damselfish behavior of picking at each other day in and day out...they do best in larger groups. Also what species is your single damselfish?

Do you have a rough idea of how much live rock there is? Are you running a protein skimmer or any supplemental powerheads in the tank? What are your water parameters?

The single damsel is just all blue really bright.

I dont have a protein skimmer or anything other then the Aqua Clear 110 thats the way the man i bought it from had it set up im just scared that it is not enough he said he had the fish like that for 2 yeas.

I really dont have a good idea im guessing like 15 pounds of rock none of them are bigger then 7 inches and their is about 6 rocks

Get a CPR BakPak skimmer and a canister filter *eheim or fluval*

OR

build a 20g sump/refugium and get a in sump protein skimmer.

You need a lot more live rock! at least 55 lbs of it.
