July 26th, 2009 deceided to get back into the hobby and clean my tank.
- Started out with an old semi disfunctional make Convict and a really nice female Convict.
- Brown algae and some blue green algae in the back of the aquarium.
- No plants, just under gravel filter, two power heads and rocks.
July 27th, 2009 Bought some more fish after my Ammonia and PH checked out, but neglected to check the Nitrate levels. Dir
-Fish now include, 2 Dempsey, 2 original con., 2 Fire mouth, and 2 Pleco
-bought plants, 2 Java ferns, clump of Wisteria, bronze foreground plant and something that resembles a Amazon sword.
July 28th, 2009 came home and water was cloudy.
- Did another 50% water change
