penn-plax SMALLWORLD filter system

Hi,

Can the penn-plax smallworld filter be placed horizontally rather than vertically? the height of my custom tank is about 6 inches high. by 12 inches long.

Please advise

Well a small electric filter might be a better choice if you want to place it horizontally since the penn-plax smallworld filter most likely will work in a suboptimal manner placed horizontally (don't know exactly how this filter is designed.)

It might work good placed on the diagonal.
