I posted this yesterday but don't see it so may have hit delete instead. If you see this thread twice, let me know so I can delete please.
When the gal was netting my danio's, this fish ended up in the mix. It looks like a platie but is too small and is gray. Too ugly to be a guppy so what is it? And, she is rather pregnant looking, don't you think?
She's the size of a danio and has two black dots near her anal area which are part of her marking.

Looks like one of the platy or molly species. Nice silver color! Can you see eggs inside thru the skin, usually on the lighter colored platy at least, I can see black eyes inside as the babies develop.

Certainly shaped like a platie but the size of a zebra danio........just fat. And those two black spots are markings I hadn't seen either. Think there might have been something in the wood pile?

LOL I don't even know what an Endler is. If this thing is pg, she got that way from the danio's.

Female guppies and Endler's Live Bearers can have fry every four weeks for 7-8 months without a male. They store sperm.

I also thought a female guppy at first, maybe it was a feederfish that survived, this would also account for the lack of colour.

I'm almost positive it's just a common female guppy. my lfs is full of them, except most have at least a little orange/yellow colour on the tail.
She's a guppy,endlers livebearer,or a mosquito fish
