I was just wondering how many of you (if at all) scuba dive??
My husband and I got certified in April and loved it so much that we just got stress and rescue certified. going to go to Curacao here at the end of August and I am excited!!

I go in the cold all the time!!! I dive in a place called Blue Hole in NM and it is a constant 61F all year round... but that's the only place to go around here.

lol Thats not cold! It was 60F at 63feet on my last "school" dive in P.V. Mexico and it was wonderful! Even had a thermalcline which kinda spooked me because it didn't look anything like it did while reading the text. Thought I was loosing it!
The last dive I did here, I got to 30feet and had to go back, I just wasn't enjoying things and my feet were frozen! I really hated to pull the dive and spent 10 minutes talking myself into staying "Just another minute, you'll get used to it" but...no, once the feet went tingly, that was it!
Lucky warm water people! *jealous*

i had an 8ft tiger sand shark on my last dive.
my head was on a continuous pivet for the rest of the dive. he kept circling the sunken bridge we were on like it was nothing haha

Hay Rob, have you looked at those Australian "Shark Dives"? Looks wicked!! >:) You go down and lay on the bottom in these "cage" type things, while the guide is in a chainmail suit, chumming the water!
I'd so do it but I'm liable to get arrested for attacking the slow flight attendant duing the zillion hour flight there....I get really cranky when I can't smoke for more than 8 hours. :help:

i am def going to do that one day - itd be a blast
Shark was moving so effortlessly, it was incredible to see. Also saw some 5ft colossal groupers - ugly fish but really cool as well.
Also neat to see marine Angels in the wild

I go diving with my cousins and brother in-law atleast once a month, but in the summer time and during lobster season we take out the Brownies Third Lung very often.

You ever hit New England Isle of shoals bud! great diving there. I did a wreck dive on the Empire Knight and found a cool 1942 pump action fire extinguisher at 152'.
Front and Back Beaches in Mass and Nubble Lighthouse in Maine are nice too.
