Got new fish!! My poor community tank is turning into a Cichlid tank very quickly. lol This actually wasn't my idea. My fishguy got a bunch of new fish in and my g/f just loved the "purple ones". So when I got the "honey he's really pretty, I really like him, He would look good in the tank" I explained what about dinner? (we had plans, were kid free) I got well you could cook for me... who was I to argue?

First up is the shy guy Pseudotropheus Aurora. He's about 2 inches long for now.

Next up are the 2 Labidochromis sp. Hongi. They are both almost 2 inches as well. Zippy little guys.. they seem to like the caves vs. the bags and tanks they've coped with for the past couple days. lol

So now it seems it's official... I need another good sized tank for my community fish.... bummer huh?? lol

Thanks all!

It's my 80 gallon community tank. Nope the plants are fake for right now. I might be changing that soon.
I need to relocate a lot of fish... lol Already have the guppys and a few mollys out. I fear for the neons and rummys though. I have a 20 long for them. Need a heater and some little things. I need something for the rest of the mollys, zebras, and platys. Not sure what to do with the BN's yet.

BN will do fine with the africans. Make sure to be stocking that thing, to spread out aggression.

My fish guy said the same thing. With Cichlids more can be better because they leave each other alone more. I can really put a good amount in 80 gallons. I laughed at because he's the one selling the fish... lol. He does a have a few more I like...
everyone just needs to get along for about a week...

My fishguy admitted to wanting to sell me fish too but it was still a true statement so I should buy more... lol (like he has to tell me to buy more fish...lol)

I still haven't managed to get a better pic of anyone yet.... camera shy little buggers.

They're great little fish, specially at feeding time! They almost grab the pellets out of my fingers!

lol mine are still too shy for that. I tried this morning.. the Hongis would come about an inch away but would take off. The Aurora still doesn't want anything to do with me. lol
