i just got 7 green corys and like 5 of them are really hyper swimming all over the tank and not just on the bottom. they are so hyper that i am starting to think that the one or two that are hanging at the bottom are the ones acting unusual. i just got them last night watched them for about a hr and then checked on them before i left for work this morning. i know they have alot of room they only share a 110g tank with 1angel so they got the room to wonder because there is almost nuthing in the tank but one rock. (im still setting the field for my plants they will come soon.) but is this normal or is there anything wrong with the one or two that are calm

As long as if they have normal colors and eat the same, everything is ok, just different personalities of fish.

They are probably just exploring their new home. If the tank is new, they may be searching for food. Since the tank has only one rock, they could be searching for a hiding spot to feel secure.

When you have enough corys they will swim all over the tank and all over each other! lol
Its fun to watch and completly normal. Its when they have low numbers(under6) that they tend to lay around the bottom and search out food once in a while.Corys are fun fish!
Give them a few days. The 2 on the bottom should come around.
Try mixing their food with a wee bit of minced garlic. If its internal it will help.
