? about the salvini

hi, my b/f n i hav 2 salvinis in a 75g tank with a jewel firemouth convict jack 2 obs, and we did hav another jewel but it got sick and eventually we had to flush it. so my ? is how big do there teeth get and are they ok to keep with the other cichlids in our tank? thanks. scky.

dont flush fish. It screws up the ecosystem bad. Fish of bigger and equal size may work.

The way it sounds Your fish should be ok with them. I have one with 2 convicts and a jewel and they seem to be doing ok for now. As long as all of your fish are close to the same size. Salvinis will hide sometimes when they are with other aggressive fish so if you see this behavior dont be scared.

My salvini is the biggest fish in the tank so he run the hut. He has found his territory and he doesnt let any of the other fish go into it. Its pretty cool to watch him and he is really colorful.
