I live in Bloomsburg PA. and am requesting those who pray such as I do and those who wish to pray for my daughter and another lady at our Church were diagnosed with Lymes disease, this is caused by a tick bite to those who don't know about the disease. The lady at our Church has had this for a few weeks and they thought that they got to the disease fast enough with antibiotics but now she has bell palsy (facial paralysis) on one side of her face---it's one of those things that may go away and may not. My daughter was running up to 105 degree temperature last week with this and since Friday after being put on amoxicillin has not run a fever since, my wife asked my boss which is a pediatrician if my daughter could get bell palsy even after being treated with an antibiotic and she said it is possible. This is horrible in Pa. and we get alot of adults and children at our clinic coming in that has or has had lymes disease, pray not only for my daughter and our friend but also those out there that have this that they get cured, this ain't like cancer, diabetes or heart disease which are some of the most horrible diseases in the world today but if not caught early in the stage lymes disease can become quite bad. Thanks.

Two months ago I had two ticks on my lower back for about 24 hours. I kept checking the area where they were and luckily there were no bite marks. Every blemish I developed on my skin made me panic though!

One of my best friends fought a long battle with Lyme's disease but is now doing well. Hers was made worse by the fact that her insurance company kept refusing to pay for treatment because "there's no Lyme's in Texas." Kept trying to send her to shrinks because all of her symptoms must have been in her head, regardless of what the doctors said. Even with all that, though, my friend is now better. Hope your daughter and friend will also recover!
