do high fins eat vallisneria?

recently i noticed that my vallisneria started to deteriorate. i also added 2 small sail fin plecos in my 55 g. could it be the cause?

Did you recently plant or move them? Mine get kinda crummy for awhile after moving them, which I do about every month. LOL
