I have been trying to feed him floating pellets, tropical fish pellets, flakes, earthworms and Im about to pull my hair out help! William maybe you can help some?

You have to do crickets and gradually train him for tweezer food. Mine never learnt tweezer food and was on crickets all his life.

Mine actually took flake food, but he wouldn't always eat it, I had a lot of luck with dried krill. You also want to find several things he'll eat and vary it because they get bored with the same food. Also, if you've got a fly swatter, you can feed him any flys you find around your house.

Its winter now and Im poor! I guess Ill have to stuff flake down his throat lol...

Wow, the petting is pretty impressive, mine was always pretty skittish. But they are picky eaters. Another thing to be aware of is that if the food doesn't float directly in front of him, or (in the case of live food) continue to disrupt the surface tension he may not notice it.

Mine was skittish too. If i came close to him, he'd dive to the bottom of the tank.

Krill may work. Theyre cool fish.
