About two months ago a lfs gave me thirteen black molly babies. I fed them crushed flakes but, sadly, only two made it. I think it was because I washed my hands with anti-bacterial soap before I fed them. I now have one female 1/3 inch and the male is 1/2 inch (he is so much bigger than his sister) I also have a silver lyretail molly who I've had for a year now. She has a cloudy eye - when I noticed I separated her from the other fish for a week, her appetite was good and she otherwise seemed fine, just blind in one eye. After she seemed fine for a while I put her back with the others. Well, anyway, my male fry is very aggressive and is chasing the females already. I am concerned he will harass my poor lyretail to death when he gets big. I am quite attached to "The Beast" and want to keep him. Should I buy another female molly to spread around the aggression? Is there room? I seem to think I'm overstocked already. I am currently looking for a home for the gold barbs - that may help my overstocking problem. What do you think?
