I got my glass top today for the 55. Third time's a charm - this one was not broken. It BARELY fits length wise (not long enough), so I am going to glue plastic strips to the trim to widen the ledge. What would be a good glue/cement to use? The tank doesn't have the center support, so I'd like to do the same there. Any comments/suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

I'd recomend silicone, same stuff that holds your tank together. You can usually get it pretty cheap at a lowes or home depot... just make sure you get the 100% silicone stuff, none of the ones with anti mold stuff in them (I think the one most used is GE)
ah... ng beat me to it lol
