did she get pregnant before I bought her or does she need a male to fertilize them now that their out? I read, the fry's will hatch in 3 days, so if there are eggs, there will be babies?? that would be so cool! She is sooo protective over them right now, cute!

You do need a male to fertilize the eggs. She may be protective over the eggs, but the eggs will not hatch without a male to fertilize them.

If no males is present at the time of laying, the eggs will not be fertile.

White eggs = infertile (fungus will take over).... you'll definitely need a male present when she spawns.
