I checked all my water parameters several times, even did a change of 30% just to be safe. I had a little ich problem a few weeks ago that I took care of, no fish show any signs of ich at all and everyone seems perfectly happy. But my one mollie has been acting weird. As the title says, she swims with her tail very low, she seems bloated, her scales aren't puffed out, and she seems super afraid of me now when before she wasn't. I have no males in the tank so I obviously ruled out pregnancy.

I'm kind of stuck here and not sure what to do. I tried feeding her some peas in case she was constipated, but even that didn't do a thing. I don't know what to do, and I really don't want to lose her, she's my favorite out of the bunch.

You might not want to rule out pregnancy unless you have had her a long time. Is there a black spot above her anal fin?

I had a male who died about 7 weeks ago. I'll be honest, I have no idea what the gestation period of a molly is, but I figured it couldn't be this long. I may be wrong though. She's still alive. I treated the tank for ich again, and made another water change. She seems to be more active now though her tail fin looks a little beat up. I've watched the tank vigorously and haven't seen anyone going after her.

I have 2 angel fish, 6 serpae tetras and 2 shrimp in the tank.

The gestation period can last from say 28 days to sometimes a little over 30.thumbs2:

Well, whatever was wrong with her she got over. She didn't have any babies, her tail looks fine now, her belly isn't all swollen, and she's swimming like she used too. Still can't figure out what it was that made her ill though.
