Hey guys,

I am planning to keep these fish. So far all I can find is odd amount of conflicting info about the tank size, and the size of the fish.

The one thing is I understand that these fish like live foods, and mostly a planted tank with places to hide. Also best not to keep anything in the tank that they can eat.

So so far all I am thinking of it just keeping them as a species only fish.

My Questions are,

1. What size tank. 30 gallon tall be okay? Also what size do they get to? Apparently 5 inches?
2. How many of these fish, in one tank. Just a single fish or not?

Cheers,

mac

this fish needs a heavily planted tank, with lots of cover, it grows to about 6 inches. only 1 in a 30gal tank a 55gal is better,
