Anyone like temple plants? Mine do extremely well and this is what comes off 2 plants every other week along with a couple sword & lotus leaves

i use flourite and flourish tabs and a substrate heater. I have a buddy who only uses the tabs, and his grow very well too. i use diy c02 and so does he. constant pruning helps them along as well.

I saw a couple pots of these plants at my LFS and went home to look them up before I bought them. When I went back there a couple days later to buy them, they were sold out. I've been waiting/hoping they'd get another batch in.

I grew those (about 20 yrs ago) Luckily a friend owned a fish shop and we sold a bunch.

They were grown in a 125 gal tank with UGF. Had to cut them back at least once a week!

We also used the tank to grow out Angels

You are definately doing all the right things! Nice plant.

I potted some onion plants and put them in with the Silver Dollars to see if they would eat it. They nibbled a bit but other than that have left them alone. If they continue not to bother them, I will plant some in their tank.

yes! That would be great. The closest lfs are chain stores and they just keep getting the same stuff. Every now and then they'll get something different from their plant supplier in their potted plants shipments. The only 3 uniqe plants I've seen them get are the temple plants, some crypt lucens, and anubias gracillis (African spearhead). I missed out on the temples, didn't get the lucens since I already have a bunch of crypt wendtii. But I did get the anubias; the woman working there was surprised she saw it in there since it's pretty rare for those to be imported. She knew about them because her dad has some of them in his tanks; she's the most knowledgeable salesperson I've met at this chain store lfs, can't wait till she comes back off of maternity leave.
