Crape Myrtle

I've been reading and searching posts about wood for an aquarium, but have found no mention of Crape Myrtle. I have a piece that is several years old and quite dry. It is a very dense and heavy twisted wood. Has anyone had or heard any experiences with it in an aquarium? Thanks

I don't know any ditails about that wood and my opinion is don't put it in your aquarium.Put in only SABANA and other woods for aquarium.If you can buy wood from pet shop it will beter than your woods.

Thanks Gutsi, I'm not planning on adding it unless someone can tell me for sure it's safe. I have an artificial piece that looks surprisingly real in my tank, but it's more of a center piece.
