hybrids in the lake

if aulonocara cichlids will cross-breed in our tanks will this also occur in the lake with species from the same location. if so how "pure" are wild caught fish

Cross breeding occur in the lake but is much more uncommon than it is tanks since species that are prune to cross breed usually don't live in the same areas of the lake in the wild.
