Pristella tetras (x-ray tetras)

I ve got 4 pristella tetras but after I got home I realized one of them is different.....
one of them has a black spot right in the middle of the fish....
is tht a difference they have between sex or they just sold me another species as a pristella? I will post pics later...

Not sure if it's a species difference or not. We saw some of those the other day and thought they were neat!

yea it does look cool... its just the same but colors are a bit different I jsut realized it after I was aclimating them....
instead of having the orange/red fins it has black fins but its the same thing as the others.....
how much do they cost where u buy ur stuff... I think I paid too much

The $3.50 sounds about right, we actually go to two different places that have widely varying prices, haven't figured that one out yet......

THe local LFS we go to doesn't have as wide of selection, but has lower prices (usually by at least $1.50), where as the store a county north of us has much more variety and slightly higher prices. Go figure!

Watch that black spot. Sometimes black spots mean incurable tumors.

3.50 is about normal around here. All my lfs's have one week a month where common fish like platys and neons are 5 for 10$, but otherwise theyre 3.50

I dnt think its a tumor because its like on the "skin' on both sides exactly the same shape

its a black phantom tetra.... oooo welll it schools with the pristella so I will keep it.....
