Cichlasoma Grammode

i recently got a 44.5" male thats doing fine on nls @ ultra color pellets( for variety), earthworms, krill, beefheart, bloodworms and some homemade food made up of veggies fish and shrimp. im wondering what others feed theirs. i realize that this is a slow growing species but i feel its well worth the wait.

I don't think you'll find many people here keeping those, but hey if what your feeding is working then great. They do grow slow though, one reason I've never kept them. Not enough instant gratification.

I dont have a Grammode, but I feed my Dovii NLS, Omega One, and Shrimp. That seems to have his colors popping out great!

Thanks! This fish can't even live with a female. He killed the snails and plastic plants I put in there...he also tries to kill the drift wood (funny to watch)!

I have always liked the Grammodes! They are sort of like a miniature Dovii!
