Are these 2 fish compatible with each other in the sense that they can both thrive and live happily in the same tank?

yellow labs are much more aggressive than fronts (even if the fronts are bigger) and not recommended tankmates for frontosas.... fronts like other fronts in their tanks... calvus are another good tankmate. They don't mind non-aggressive fish, but too shy for aggressive ones like your yellows.

I saw some pics once (on another forum) of a yellow lab that had lived woth fronts for a couple years. Then one day it was all over, and there was only about 1/4 of the lab remaining.

Calvus are fry predators, relatively shy fish in general, and don't have the aggressive tendencies Fronts do. The Lab's would probably be too active for the calvus to live together comfortably.

Peacocks aren't as active/aggressive as mbuna, and don't mix well in the long haul. Zebra's are one of the most aggressive mbuna. You're best to mix mbuna with other mbuna and peacocks with other peacocks either as single males or breeding groups. Also avoid mixing similar-colored/patterned species to minimize conflict betweem males.
