Betta suddenly less fussy about food

My betta used to be really fussy about his food, but since I added some Endlers livebearers he suddenly doesn't seem to care what food he eats anymore and eats a heck of a lot more.

Selfish little s0d he is, he only eats it because he doesn't want my other fish to have it.

that's weird, mine eat anything and everythig and always have. i found they liked a lot more stuff when they were in my community tank.

same with my two bettas. They eat whenever and eat alot. Theyre never picky.

well, actually i bought several bettas these 2 months, for me and my friends, and they all rarely eat, even those that survived or months are rarely seen eating... or are they discreet about it? It could be that the shop isnt providing good specimens?

But i read that bettas have personalities, and if they are not happy somewhere, they stop eating...

How do u know a betta is happy? is it by moving around alot, or just sitting and resting most of the time?
