hello all..

I was wondering what temperature you set your heater's at for the tank's water temperature to stay at? Most of the community fish I see in my local petco store say that the fish should be in temps of 72F-80F Temp's.

To be more specific about the tank and fish I have now...I have a 55gal with 5 black skirt tetra's, and also 5 bloodfin tetra's inside at the present time.

I currently have my heater set to 76F Degrees and the water temperature stays at 76F degrees , since it is a Marineland Stealth Heater in use. I was wondering if 76F degree's is a good temp for the fish I have in the tank or should I lower it some?

Thanks for any help...Chris

here is a picture of the tank:

76 is fine, I like to keep mine around 79 but as long as temp is around 75-79 is perfect. Sometimes breeding changes this, but thats another long topic.

My temp is normally around 76f. IMO any were around 76-79 is fine. For most tropical fish.
