Pulsating xenia hasnt opened for a week

The pulsating xenia in my 20g doesn't seem to want to open anymore. I hasn't opened in a week or two. I thought this was because the salinity got too high, but I've lowered it, and it still won't open. The water parameters are all fine. What do you think could be causing it to remain closed?

You could try moving them to another location in the tank (worked for me). Other than that they are hit and miss. They do seem to perfer more nutrient rich water in my experience. Your tank could be too "clean" for them.

Besides not opening, do they still look fine? Still have their original color?
