We saw that in the lab recently. Not sure I believe they are worms though. I'm really surprised whoever took the video didn't try to get a sample of them.

It definately strange... It almost looks like the camera was mounted on a robotic arm the way it moves.

It is. What you're looking at is video of either a drainage or sewer pipe. The camera is on a long fiber optic arm that they control from the truck.

Someone else posted this a few days ago. I think its totally cool!!! I would love to try and grow them, or just get my GLOVED hands on some of them and see what they are, run some tests! That would be awesome!

The easiest thing to grow - a neighbour lab in my university grows them in 1 g tanks with sand substrate and airstones, leaving the rest to mother nature ;)

Yes. Set up a 1G tank halfway-filled with fine sand. I don't know what they feed them, I'm guessing nothing :) When you get them in a blob, usually in clod temperatures and poke them, or "startle" in some way they move like that - one usually starts and then it's a chain reaction within miliseconds.
