Suicidal otto cats?

The two otto cats i added to my 10g are acting like idiots. They'll go to the aquaclear and just want to get sucked in by the intake. I found one half in the intake and figured it was dead since i heard theyre not easy to take care of after just buying them, and tried to net him and he swam away. again and again, he'l just go by the intake. Im worried one time hes gonna go all the way.

When I first got my oto, he kept bouncing up and down off the substrate. Doing fine now, but I guess there was that adjustment phase.

Try covering your intake with something like pantyhose or a sponge at least until it learns it can't get in there anymore.
