My shoppings done.

A)a otto cat for each tank except salt tank- done
B)5 ghost shrimp- done
C)Something i dont need but's on sale- done. Its kinda cool. Its made by tetra, and is a tall piece of fake driftwood, that is upside down Y shaped and comes with a hidden internal whisper filter and a place for a heater. I got it for my new 10g since its the only 10g that can use more filtration. And petsmart had some other cool shrimp, marble shrimp, but for 15$ thats a bit too much for something 3 inches. They had ghost shrimp for 80 cents finally.

I have seen those "logs" that are filters. Cool stuff. Sounds like you got some nice new equipment. I just today got my $200 worth of artificial plants/rocks/ornaments/etc. What an addiction! :-)

i'll post pics tomorrow. Im euthuanising my poor krib now. He mysteriously got bad fin rot within 3 hours. No signs before that. Hes swimming diagonally and i dont think hes going to make it.

That log was a good buy. 17$ for a 10g one, and 33$ for a 40g one.

Although those marble shrimp are expensive they're cool!

I cant understand it. He was perfect three hours ago, eating, chasing the auratus, and darting allover. Now, he just mops in the corner.

I think he got bitten on the fin. I doubt that much finrot can occur in 3 hours.

i dont think so. Hes the one who dishes the dirt in the tank. The auratus is always chased by him, but its not a violent chase. The lamp. brichardi is small and minds his own business, and i only added 2 otto cats today. Hes in a hospital tank now laying down. All his fins are deteriorated, so its rot The odd thing is i read something today that said " if you forward this message to two people, you will get good luck on the coming friday. If not, someone/ something you love will die before friday." I was busy and didnt forward the message, but now i kinda wish i did.

The kribs laying on the gravel right side up, breathing slowly and not moving too much. He has salt and melafix/pimafix. I doubt he'll make it the night, so im gonna naturally let him pass since i hate killing them purposely. All my other tanks just got a 50% water change to prevent anything else.

More shopping done! I got 8 white clouds for my 10g, and i looked at the box for the log filter thing. Seems like it was 47.95$ in 2005, and since november o6 it was marked at 17$, and noone bought them. I cant see why not. It hides the filter and heater. If i had more money, i would have got the rock one for my 20g.
