Very nice. It's so much fun having a new tank, isn't it?

It's a 29 gallon... 30"x12"x18"

It's only got 1, 20W flourescent strip but it seems to be enough so far, as every plant is showing growth. They may not flourish, but they will hopefully stay alive and continue to show some growth. The little banana plant has really surprised me. I didn't even realize I had it until I got home and went to plant the swordplants and discovered mixed in the leaves =) I love freebies! hehe

I do hope that the swordplants will get a bit taller and fuller. I would love to have them covering the entire backside of the tank with the small stuff scattered around the tank like it is currently.

And yes, it is a LOT of fun! And I am very proud of it so far =)

The plant growing out of the tank you mean? It's grown like that in a week! It was lower than the leaves last week, now it's breaking the water line lol. I read it might flower out of water so I was gonna see what happens, but the hood covers the whole top so not sure what it will do...kinda curious haha. I trimmed the other swordplant and replanted one of the daughters, letting the other daughter develop a bit more before I trim it off as well and replant. I am amazed how much growth I've seen in only 1 week.
