Hey all, just started fish keeping about a week ago. I got a small tank with a female Betta and a Bamboo Shrimp to get my feet wet. Have a 30 gallon not in use I'm going to make heavily planted with co2, big light, fertilizer. Haven't decided what freshwater fish for it yet. Cya on the forums.

I have finally completed the fishless cycle in my 30 gallon tank, which is now planted. I decided to move my female betta into it, and give her small cycled tank to a friend. Also, I just got more fish for my first big aquarium! An Opaline Gourami and 10 Red Eye Tetras. Acclimated them for an hour and they are all active and healthy looking so far. The betta is really happy in the bigger tank, if she's not schooling with the Red Eye's, shes following the Gourami who seems to want nothing but to mind his own business heh.
