My dwarf blue neon gourami has a couple bumps near his dorsal fin. Both look at first glance like he scraped himself on something. I spotted this 2 days ago, and even though his activity and eating are normal, I decided to QT him today. I have him in my 2 gallon tank and I am treating him with a melafix and pimafix combination. I added attison's betta spa to the water for the stress relievers and other benefits. No other fish in the 29 gallon are showing any negative signs and this tank is rock solid on parameters with 30% water changes in the 7-10 day range. I am hoping it is just a scrape and the melafix will help that anyway. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be welcome.

watch the area of tank this fish generally hangs out at, are there any semi sharp ends/points that the fish could run into? is it possible the fish darts around tank when lights are first turned on? do you have hanging thermometer by corner of tank? could fish be swimming into it when startled?
