hey guys,

i have a 20 gallon tank with live plants and i just wanted to know if you guys thought it was over stocked... i have 5 serpae tetra, three otos and a golden gourami

You still have plenty of room for a school of small fish.

I would say add to your school of serpaes, maybe 3-5 more individuals and you would be good. :)

Yah you could def beef up the school of serpae tetras to 8-10

yup

here's a couple... not really well taken but gives you the idea of the tank... and when i said all the fish i have they're really not in there yet lol i just wanted to know if that would've been too many... all that's in there now are three of the tetra and two ottos

I would get something different like 5 or 6 black skirt tetras or a couple of bolivian rams, they're really nice.
I have swordtails, buenos aires tetras and zebra danios in with my serpaes.thumbs2:

Nice tank! A good background will bring your tank to the next level, moreso than any fish you could add.

I think a background would do wonders. The tank looks great. I like the idea of a pair of Bolivian rams.
