Better stuff here. 16 lbs for 70, and DR F S are supposed to have amazing live rock.

Meh, im not a big fan of buying live stuff on the net, as nice as that box of rocks would be. I think ill pick up 3-4 lbs at the lfs. If it is cured at the lfs, do i need to re-cure it before it goes in?

It depends on how long they cured it for. Try to ask for LR that's been sitting in their tanks with full lighting for a few months.

Threaten to quit then. You need to take advantage of leverage :)

As a side note, without good lighting, a lot of the organisms on the live rock won't grow, so if you don't forsee yourself buying a new fixture anytime soon, then you may as well start with some of the cheapie LR that just has bacteria. It'll be much cheaper than the premium stuff with coraline algae on it.

Well, thats my problem. The lfs around here ONLY sell top of the line fiji/tonga live rocks.

How come all of the people with good deals always live in a different county?

haha, i dunno. My powerheads were a good buy too. The only thing i hate is my substrate gets blown allover if a powerhead loses its suction grip. I also have a SEVERE algae problem from my light, but it doesnt bug me since i'll get the scarlet crabs and turbo snails.
