They are great fun little guys aren't they. I have three myself. Love their grumpy little faces. Mine come to greet me and go crazy when I bring them brine shrimp. They will make you smile over and over.

Great shots! I have a quick question as well, what all are you feeding them?

I feed mine brine shrimp (live), blood worms and mysis shrimp.
They love live food the most. They like to set, stalk, and eat. LOL Mine are close to three years old. I had read their life span is three to five.

The favorite food for mine are live skeeter larvae. They go nuts for them.To a lesser extent they like live worms as well and have a dandy time ripping it to pieces with the help of the puffer.Im gonna get a few more of these soon.

Where do you collect the live skeeter larvae?

I have in my backyard an old cement waterfall ornament that on occasion gets enough water in it to get some skeeter larvae.I harvest some about twice a week then cover over it with very fine mesh so they cannot escape when they hatch.

Thanks. Ya I guess they would love the live brien shrimp cause they would probably be the perfect size for the little guys.

About a half inch long and flippin funny to watch. You ought to see them snapping up skeeter larvae as big as they are!
