Can't find a size on the tank but, it looks tiny. Did find customer reviews. They are all from this month and 1 of them on each site was the same employee review. That looks like a Ram's Horn snail. They poop, a lot. That bamboo is not an aquatic plant. The gravel won't filter anything, just trap poop. Brookstone is not a pet store of any kind.

There are better options at pet stores for the same price.

I hate products that advertise neglectability like an attractive marketing feature. Let them fester in their own waste for six months? That is your big selling point?

Run away. These types of habitats seem all for show - unfortunately, animals - even of the aquatic variety - are not works of art. They are biologically complex creatures with their own needs that must be met.

I would purchase a larger aquarium set up - I'd suggest a 5 gallon minimum if you're going with the african dwarf variety.
