Regarding the first story, it's disappointing that it's only due to economic conditions and not lack of demand. Do people really want to eat whale meat anyway?

And regarding the second one - well there are lots of evolutionarily unique animals in Australia, I guess it's not surprising that there are unique fish as well!

I am sad that people would still buy whale, people just don't think.
And I am glad there is a good population of lungfish left!
