Ok, In hopes that my Jack Dempsey is a male, I'm going to get a female about the same size ( talked to the LFS today ). The thing is, if my current is, can two females live peacefully together? Or will I have to separate?
Two females will be fine, just make sure you have enough caves/protection!

Ok good. So all in all its a win win. Either get a pair (hopefully) out of the deal, or just two fish haha
