Looks pretty good. Free shipping too. I think I might try them, but has anyone on here ordered from them? They are also on ebay.

My buddy ordered a bunch of aquarium moss from them. It just arrived late but no problems other then that.

Let us know how your purchase goes. I'm always looking for new plant retailers that are good and clean.

I've heard conflicting reports.
The primary complaint I've heard is their false Customs declarations, pkg marked as toys to avoid certificate of Health

That could be a real problem. Particularly if they are shipping species of plants into areas that don't allow them.

I only order from Aquariumplants.com.
This doesn't help to answer the question, but I'd recommend them to anybody that wants healthy plants. thumbs2:

I've checked that one out before, but shipping for Canada is crazy! Well for me at least
This is where I think I'll get some of mine from!

I do pretty much all my rare plant buys with AQ magic. They are extremely caring about their customers and if the plants get lost or damaged and they don't hesistiate to send you more. Even though they're far away and shipping takes a while, all the plants arrive in good condition at least. I really have never had a bad experience with them and would recommend them whole heartedly.

I tend to buy from them on ebay just because it's an easier transaction without a lot of waiting for them to reply to your emails. A lot of their plants have free shipping and, if they do have shipping costs, it's like 4 bucks at the most usually. Yes they are usually pretty cheap (also a plus lol). They're also good with combining orders for you and they way they package is nice. Each plant comes in it's own little bag that's labeled so there's not guess work involved.

Aquarium plants.com forgot a plant I ordered once, and I e-mail them three times, and they never e-mailed back.
If I'm e-mailing them to place an order, they'll e-mail back in a heart beat, but they blew me off for the missing plant.

I've ordered from them and was very happy, but now I'm a little sketched out by the deal with customs (packaged was marked as "soft toy"
I ordered from Sweet Aquatics last time I ordered plants, I was very happy!

I ordered a CO2 diffuser from them and asked for a sample of their plants. They sent me little pkg of moss and it was almost all dead, just a little be left alive. It's taken me 6-8 MONTHS to nurse it to the size of a golf ball. But now it's growing really well. The diffuser wasn't broken which was a miracle considering the plastic box it was shipped in was pretty much destroyed in shipping. The weather was very hot when I got the pkg so I'm sure that's why the moss was nearly dead. I'd probably buy from them again but not in the middle of winter or summer. Spring and fall would be the best times to order so that the plants don't get cooked or frozen.

Yes and never again. They lie on the customs forms so some shippments get consfiscated. You can be fined for smuggling plants into the country illeagly. Though I don't know how it works in Canada. If you have customs where the items must be declaired like the US then I wouldn't chance it with them. I had gotten plants from them and not only where they smushed because they where in an envolope but on the customs sheet they wrote "soft toy", um, not even close to plants.

That reason alone is a good anough one not to buy from them. It also hurts people that are trying to ship legally. And how knows what kinds of parasite, deseases or pest you are bringing in.

I have actually used them a few times now and they are great! I've tried others, but not near as good.
I do agree about the wrongful importing, but I'm desperate up here! lol
I just recieved two more plants from them today and they look wonderful! Some Windolove java fern, and a amazon.
Just saying if there were great local places to buy from, I would.
Makes me want to open up my own Fish store up here! That would be a dream!

Hailey, did they ship anything with the plants to prevent them from freezing? I have been looking at buying from them too, but don't know how they would protect the plants from freezing.
