Supergluing java moss

Does it hurt the moss itself when using superglue to hold it down on a piece of driftwood or rock, also is superglue safe for the aquarium?

I think it just easier to use fishing line then super glue, I would be afraid if it leaked in the water.

IDK if it is safe. I would imagine if we cant have it on our skin, then the moss should not come into contact with it. Just my thoughts.

Crazy glue is non toxic. Reef guys use it all the time. I generally use cotton thread,

superglue is fine to use on moss or your aquarium.

Ya, I use cotton sowing thread myself, I just read somewhere that someone uses superglue to hold down java moss, I was just curious.

If you want proof that super glue is safe to use on moss take a look at this pic of my 20g. The giant clump of moss in the center is held down by nothing more than two dabs of super glue.

Its best if you can remove the object from the water. Otherwise the glue will harden instantly making it a bit more of a challenge to get it to adhere.

I used rubber bands without much issue. Cotton thread is also good as it degrades on its own
