I came home to see all my guppies basicly laying on the bottom. Is this common? Usually they are swimming around. And the tank parameters are fine. So I wonder if there just being lazy.

Hmmm . . . I haven't owned guppies for many years but that doesn't sound normal to me. I think I'd do a water change and see what happened.

Agreeing with Anomaly. That sounds very unusual for a guppy to be just laying on the bottom. Do a w/c and check the water params. One of those should answer your question as to what is going on.

that's big time unusual check your heater-your tank might have cooled too much.

I've had that happen to me twice. Within two days most of them were dead. After thinking about it for a while I'm pretty sure I forgot to add the dechlorinator to their tank after a water change (it's the last tank I do).

Did you mean you forgot dechlorinator? You may have also killed your cycle.:scry:

Guppies don't lie on the bottom normally. Any of mine that did eventually died.
