People have asked for pictures of all my babies and I promised to post pictures last week but a parrot destroyed the USB cabel to my camera (No it is not a dog eat my homework excuse;-)) so I had to get a new one before I could get these online. Here they are, all my babies

5 White fronted amazon parrots in the aviary. I have given up on real plants. They destroy them in no time so they get palm leafs instead that last a few weeks before I need to change them.

4 half moon conures

Another amazon parrot. I call him (it is a he) Agent orange because he loves nothing better then picking leafes of trees.

The last two white fronted amazons sitting in thet aviary under the roof.

To be continued....

the orphan opossum. For you who don't know the story. It was orphaned when a storm knocked over a tree in the next yard and this little guy (then 4 inches) decided to seek shelter in my bathrobe in my bedroom and I have been taken care of it since.

Thanks. Most of them are not old enough to have grown fully into their feathers yet.

Forgot this girl. She thinks she belongs to me and comes to visit after dark each night. She crawls up into my lap and want some attention.

It is nice with a cat thats only around when the parrots are safely inside that isn't
around when they are out.(they are outside in the trees much of the days)

Is it a stray? (You probably said but I'm too important to look back now that I've opened the 'post reply' window.)

I think that for the next 2 months you should keep everything a secret about your sanctuary and then surprise us in september.

I am not sure if she is a stray but she isn't mine. She might belong to someone else.

Great shots Will!
(which one at the USB:hmm3grin2orange: let me take a guess and say Axel? Or was Agent Orange trying to de-leaf it?)

It was axel. He jammed a pencil into one end of it.

He tried to get the pencil to stay put while he was playing with, examining the eraser at the top of it. (atleast I think that was his intentions)

IT WORKED!!
