36 inch aquarium, how many gallons?

So since there is virtually NO good lighting at a reasonable price for a 30'' aquarium, I decided to go with a 36 and suffer the over hang but in hopes that I can use it later on when I upgrade.

But what kind of aquarium is 36 inches long? How many gallons is that? Also, what size aquarium would be able to house two 36 inch lights?

IMO the breeder is one of the best tanks to start with.

Wait....How is a 65 gallon only 36 inches long!? Is it really tall?

The dimensions of that light are:
Dimensions (L x W x H): 36" x 7.25" x 2.5"

so two should fit nicely on any 36" tank that is 18" with a couple inches to spare.

Im sorry i didnt clarify, I meant, long ways side by side, like a 72inch long aquarium

a 125 uses 2 36" lights

My 65g is 36" long. You could always go with a pendant light and hang it above the tank.
