Was doing some maintenance on my shrimp tank today and noticed that 2 of my larger girlies have greenish areas under their tails...then I realized they have eggs:shappy: They are only about 1/2" and I havent had them that long I wouldnt have thought they would already be reproducing. Not to mention the fact Im not "that" careful about copper like most people, I dose Flourish Comprehensive and one of the types of food I feed them yep contains traces of copper. Im sure the young will be alright as most of the ones I received werent much larger than hatchlings when they arrived...just thought Id share the excitement:11:

Very cool. Congrats on the eggs.

There is not enough copper in either of those products to hurt the shrimps.

The guy I bought these from was feeding his primarily Aqueon bottom feeder tablets...and was over ran with them, and I had a can so thats what they get sometimes to. I agree tho that copper in most products isnt *that* huge of a factor as it usually is only in minute traces.

I hope everything goes well with the shrimp with eggs. Remember to cover your intake filter with a netting of some kind so the babies don't get sucked up in the intake filter. Also go get a magnifying glass to look at them better. I bought mine at Staples.:fish:
