At the moment I have a huge amount of diatom algae in my tank and I was wondering whether I should get some algae eating fish to clean it up. Otos seem about the best choice for this.
Would you advise me for or against getting 3 otos?

(The tank is 10 UK gallons so thats probably about 12 US gallons. Also I'll be removing the fry when they get a bit bigger)

Be sure to feed them once the algae is gone. That tank will not produce enough algae on its own to keep the fish fed.

Is a 10/12 gallon tank big enough for otos?
