Hith is most commonly caused by poor water conditions and a bad diet. The cause and cure is good house keeping in most cases.
What are your water parameters? Nitrate, nitrite, ammonia? What do you feed them? How often do you do water changes.
Just start doing large water changes. Jumping to meds before you know exactly what is going on can cause harm incase it is something else. You should get some pics up.

Hikari and NLS are both great foods!
The best treatment until you know whats wrong is water changes.Do a large one daily for a while.
Make sure you use dechlorinator.

Whats your water parms, and waterchange schedule? You have a massive filtration system...and IMO the stock isnt that bad.
Can you also describe the holes a bit more like where they are on the fish's body and how is their apperance any tiny strings coming out of them or anything? I ask because oscars do have tiny pin prick holes all over their heads these are sensory pores, and they also have 2 larger holes on the nose kind of like a "snout" this is completely normal. HITH primarily will start on the head region near the laterial line and be white deep pits.
Not my photos but here is an example of the normal sensory pores and "snout" of a healthy oscar:

All typical places of where it begins. I would first do more waterchanges and keep their nitrate around 20ppm or less and improve their diet. Oscars just need more food than flakes can provide. Id buy a good base pellet food, I prefer Hikari. Id then buy a food soak, I use Seachem's Nourish, which will pack these pellets with extra vitamins and nutrition and use that 2-3times per week. Also supplement their diet with some frozen krill, fresh chopped seafood, live meal worms, and some will even eat veggies...which would also be good for your SDs.
I would then also buy a medication specific for HITH disease...I have had success with Jungle's HITH guard in the past. I had a customer bring in an oscar that had half its head eaten away from HITH...took it about 6months to recover but eventually he did. I also did a 1/2 strength dose of Melafix to help heal up the holes in addition to the HITH guard.

I don't know where it is now, but there should be a sticky article by me on HITH and HLLE. It is definitely in my blog.

What you really should do too is go out and buy a water test kit. Dont buy strip tests, they are very inaccurate. Buy a good liquid kit like this

Its very important to know that your water is in good condition, if not its like you or me living in your apt with a gas leak or something. Not good things.
I normally test mine once a month, or every few weeks. Just to be sure.
